He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elwood, Kathleen Edwards and Lydia Batton Cain. He is survived by: his parents, Murray Batton and Stella Batton of Bladenboro; his sister Barretta Smith (Jerry) of Leland; his nieces, Bailey Smith, Madilyn Smith and Jordyn Smith; and his nephew Jerod Smith.
