He was predeceased by: his father James Nicholson. He is survived by: his mother Margie Curling Nicholson of Chesapeake, VA; his wife Kathy H. Nicholson; his children, Steven Nicholson Jr. (Katherine) of Hallsboro, Tyler Nicholson (Heather) of White Oak and Mindy Ingram of Parkton; his sister Cindy Payne (Larry) of Chesapeake, VA; his half-sister Jody Starnes (Ken) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Landon, Chase, Madalin, Caden, Kix, Auden and Liam.
Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, attendees of the services are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
