It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelton Strickland of Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Strickland and Mary Strickland; his children, Debbie Strickland and Gary Strickland; and his siblings, James Strickland, Mabel Smith, Lula Mae Webb, Estelle Yates and Vada Gaskins.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Strickland of Ocean Isle; his sister Mildred Stephson (Lynwood) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Nija Jacques (Rob) of Raleigh and Cade Brummett of John's Island, SC..
Throughout the weeks of no visitation due to Covid-19 your kindness, care and communication meant so very much.
