She was predeceased by: her parents, O. W. Lennon and Frankie Bodenheimer Lennon; her husband Layton Clewis; and her brother George Franklin Lennon. She is survived by: her sons, Dale Clewis of Bladenboro, David Clewis (Amy) of Littlefield and Greg Clewis of Matthews; her siblings, Billy Paul Lennon (Ila Mae) of Kernersville, NC, Hilda L. Bass of Clarksville, VA and Joyce L. Holsinger (Melvin) of Arlington, VA; her grandchildren, Ethan Clewis, Riley Clewis, Amy Clewis Murray (Luke) and Wil Clewis; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Lorilai and Damon.
