He was predeceased by: his father Willard Hanson White; and his siblings, Charles White and Patricia W. McPherson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sasser Ransom White; his mother Vivian Thompson Johnson (Bob) of Whiteville; his children, Robert Hanson White Jr. (Roberta) of Holly Springs, NC and Debbie White Armstrong (Willy) of Summerville, SC; his granddaughters, Samantha White Sahlback, Abigail White John and Danielle Armstrong; his great grandchild Addison John; his sister Phyllis White Cron (Frank) of Whiteville; his stepdaughter Kim Watson of Whiteville; and his stepgranddaughter Olivia-Faith Watson.
