She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Buster" Walker and Mary Anna Walker; her husband Richard E. Vaughan; and her sisters, Mary E. Tucker, Gerlie M. Tucker and Kate P. Dagner.

She is survived by: her sons, Rutherford "Dollbaby", Ricky Carl Vaughan, Michael (Jennifer) of Bladenboro and Tyrone Vaughan of Blackstone, VA.; her stepdaughter Anna Pearl Hicks of Alberta, VA; her sister Ruby Love; her sister-in-law Pearl Vaughan of Blackstone, VA.; and her sisters, Theretha Wallace and Robin Birdsong. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
