With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murdick Britt (Bladenboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 8, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Britt and Sadie Britt; his siblings, Eli of Dock, JC, Hubert, Dewy, Edward, Lee Britt and Hatie Jackson; and his great grandchild Ashton Britt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Britt of Bladenboro; his children, Joe Britt (Gale) of Smithfield, VA, Sammy Britt (Charlotte) of Bladenboro, Anthony Britt (Keesha) of Bladenboro and Brenda McCormick (Marvin) of Spring Lake; and his brother Robert Britt of Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
