She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Catherine Walters (Lewis); her husband Buster Walters; her son Carter Walters; her children-in-law, Bonita Walters, Larry Surles and Elijah Johnson; her siblings, Marcella Singletary, Jacqueline Gowens, Lunetta Shaw, Maxine Shaw, Leola McKoy, Harry Lewis, Brooks Lewis, Glover Lewis, Leon Lewis and John Hill; her children, Evoria Johnson of Petersburg, VA, Delilah Walters of Bladenboro, NC, Corothine Surles of Elizabethtown, NC, Michael Walters (Barbara) of Lumberton, NC, Gregory Walters (Mary) of Seaboard, NC and Algenon Walters (Von) of Washington, DC; her daughter-in-law Sheila Walters of Wake Forest, NC; and her friends, Barbara Singletary, Harlene Walters and Roosevelt Pee. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
