She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Haywood and Vera Young Mitchell; her husband Zacharius "Jack" Bright; her son James "Sammy" Bright; and her siblings, Tassie Mae Graham, Doris Young, Vera Aretha Bass, Ludie Graham, Janie Elaine Owens, Samuel David Mitchell, George Alton Mitchell, Cleo D Mitchell, Haywood Ludwell Mitchell, Daniel Edward Mitchell and Autry Dean Mitchell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Young-Bass of Roseboro and Earlon Ray Mitchell of Council; her sons, Paul "Tony" Bright (Crystal Dove) of Bladenboro, Zachrius "Zack" Bright Jr. of Clarkton, Lloyd "Woody" Bright of Lake Waccamaw and William "Boss" Bright of Tar Heel; and her grandchildren, Jessica Bright of Fayetteville, Jana Whaley of Savannah Ga, Hope Bright of Clarkton, Zachary "Taylor" Bright of Clarkton, Jacob Bright of Tar Heel, Abigail "Abby" Bright of Elizabethtown, Samantha Pickett of Beulaville, James "Jimmy" Bright of Ohio, Tonya Bright of Ohio and Austin Wilkins. She is also survived by 16 other children that were a combination of her nieces, nephews.
