She was predeceased by : her parents, Barnice Speight and Anease Britt Speight. She is survived by : her husband Gene Norton; her daughters, Teresa N. Edwards (David) of Bladenboro and Jodie N. Hardee of Ocean Isle; her siblings, Thomas Speight (Connie) of Butters, Lorraine Childers (Tex) of Butters and Linda Sue Morrell (Johnny) of Fayetteville; and her pet Oscar. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand fur babies.
