She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Fowler and Leila Letha McPherson Fowler; her husband Hoover Butler; her siblings, Alene Byrd, Linda Faye Fowler, Elwood, Marshall, Johnny and William Earl; her sons, Lamonte and Elton Butler; and her siblings, Dana and Herbert.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Dale Butler Kirkland of Bladenboro; her sister Ruby Young of Ocala, FL; her grandchildren, Kimberly Barkhurst (Joe) of New Bern and Christopher Kirkland of Cameron; and her great grandchildren, Kristano and Kaley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
