Marcus Butler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcus Butler of Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur, Vady Butler, Joe and Mary Starnes. He is survived by: his parents, Everette Butler and Peggy Starnes Butler of Bladenboro; the mother of his children Laura Butler of Fayetteville; his children, Joseph Butler of Fayetteville, Morgan Butler of Fayetteville and Mary Butler of Fayetteville; his siblings, Bradley Butler (Debbie) of Bladenboro and Sharon Baxley (Rodney) of Bladenboro; his grandchildren, Alina Lewis, Madisyn Butler, Emersyn Butler and Landon Emanuel; and his close friend Christi Mills.

All attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Galeed Baptist Church.
