He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Alvin Gerber and Clara Edith Weisser Gerber; and his brother Wesley Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gerber of Bladenboro; his sons, David Gerber (Starla) of Wichita, KS and Douglas Gerber (Jody) of McKinney, TX; and his siblings, Duane Gerber (Vi) of Alberta, Canada, Allan Gerber (Leona) of Valley City and Bernice Link (Allen) of Alberta. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
