It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laughton Junior West of Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laughton West and Elaine Taylor West; his wife Shirley Wright West; and his brother Dean West. He is survived by: his children, Gregory West, Reed Hester and Tiffany Weaver (Mike); his grandchildren, Victoria West, Jared West, Brandie Carter (Adam), Jordan Weaver and Justyn Weaver; and his siblings, Hubert West (Barbara), Etha Brisson and Faye Stocks. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
