He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cain West; his daughter Nancy Tyndall (Jeremy) of Clarkton; his siblings, Robert West of Fayetteville and Virginia Hales (Clarence) of Bladenboro; and his grandchildren, Jaden Phillips, McKenzie Phillips, Caleigh Phillips and Maison Tyndall.
