Kathleen Evers Dowless Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Evers Dowless (Bladenboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 18, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Dowless; her children, Levie M. Dowless and Gunda Sue Dowless; and her brothers, Earl Evers, Hubert Evers and D. J. Evers.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Horne, Wanda Carroll, Teresa Freeman (Jimmy) and Warren N. Dowless, Jr.; and her sister Eloise Kohler (George). She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver.
