She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldsby Guyton and Kate Bryan Guyton; and her siblings, Beauford, Cary, Hoyt, Grady, G. P., Francis Smith and Lois Guyton.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Sapp (Deborah) of Bladenboro and Linda McLean (Horace) of Bladenboro; her grandchildren, Audra Fortune (Richard) of Hampstead, Johnathan Sapp (Charlotte) of St. Pauls and Miranda Cross (Blake) of Knightdale, NC; her great grandchildren, William Benton and Avery Sapp; and her great great grandchild Myla Benton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
After a 20-year battle with Alzheimer's, she now rest with her Lord and Savior.
