She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cox and Thelma Huestess Cox; her husband Fred E. Gibson; her grandson Ron Allen; and her siblings, Christine Willoughby and Billy Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Elbert Gibson, Jr. (Billie Jean) of Saint Pauls, Alice Allen (Phil) of Tar Heel and Susan Kinlaw (Kenny) of Saint Pauls; and her siblings, James Cox of Charleston, SC and Carol Sherrill of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grand-children.
