He is survived by: his mother Katherine Johnson of Bladenboro; his children, Joseph M. McLean and Sarah C. McLean (Chris); his brother Christopher C. Johnson of Bladenboro; his grandfather Leroy Wright; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Lorna Gibson.
