He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Dowless; his children, Sheila White (CP) of Bladenboro, Angela Long of Bladenboro, Pamela Dowless (David) of Bladenboro and Mickey Long (Jane); his grandchildren, C. P. White III (Erin), Jerry Ray Burney Jr. (Jami), Alicia White Wimert (Charles), Jeffery Burney (Ashley), Mic Long (Bridgett) and Kendra Bailey (Brandon); his brothers, Billy Dowless and Charles Dowless; and his pets, Whiney, Jolina and Susie. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
