He was predeceased by: his parent Darlene Ward Kelly; and his son John B. Kelly IV. He is survived by: his wife Becky Young Kelly; his son Matthew Kelly; his grandson Logan Grey Kelly of Bladenboro; his father Broadus Kelly Jr. of Bladenboro; and his brother Michael Kelly.
