He was predeceased by: his mother Maxine Taylor Dowless; and his brothers, Robert Dowless and Delane Dowless. He is survived by: his father Dewey Dowless; his children, Austin Dowless and Laci Jo Scott (Reese); his siblings, Rickie Dowless (Tina) and Vickie Dowless; his daughter-in-law Sherry Dowless; and his nephews, Ricky Dale Dowless (Brandi), Curtis Dowless (Brandy) and Nathan Dowless Jeremy (Ashley).
