We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 65, James Ernest Dove of Bladenboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dove and Virginia Butler Dove; his grandparents, Addie, David Butler and Artie Dove; his brother Clyde Dove; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Parnell and Paul Dowell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dru Dowell of Bladenboro, Marie Ammons (Eddie) of Bladenboro, Emily Parnell of Bladenboro, Sarah Dove of Bladenboro, Mary Smith (Kenneth) of Elizabethtown, Glenn Dove of Bladenboro and Buddy Butler (Penny) of Spruce Pine, NC; his sister-in-law Glenda Dove of Bladenboro; his nieces and nephews, Robin Hawley (Floyd), Ryanne Ammons, Tiffany Cain (Justin), Virginia Parnell, Jessica Pait (Dustin), Rodney Hester (Tammie), Keith Hilburn (Sonja), Robert Collier and Steven Butler (Christina); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kinley Hilburn, Haley Hester, Hannah Hester, Willa Collier, Mattie Pait, Justin Dieffenbach, Weston Hilburn and Ellie Ammons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Gibson Cancer Center or Southeastern Hospice of Lumberton.
