He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie P. Horton and Dottie Formyduval Horton; his wife Sylvia Hester Horton; and his daughter Kim Thomas. He is survived by: his son Harry Horton; his granddaughter Shawn Bolin; and his brothers-in-law, Alexander Hester (India) of Bladenboro and Ronnie Hester (Becky) of Bladenboro.
