She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Hester and Sudie Hester; her husband Theron Pait; her great grandchild Miley Pait; and her siblings, Leo Hester, Opie Hester, Eldon Hester, Versie Hickman, Martilla Freeman, Rometta Warren and Hattie Jane Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Pait (Renaye) of Bladenboro and Pam Locklear (Joe) of Bladenboro; and her sister Shipman of Oak Island. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
