He was predeceased by: his mother Janie Britt Ivey; his daughter Lisa Ivey Monroe; and his sister Rachel McGhee. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ivey; his daughter Dawn I. Brisson (Kevin) of Bladenboro; his sisters, Marie Ray of Smithfield and Carolyn McKenzie of St. Pauls; and his grandchildren, MacKenzie Brisson, Nolan Brisson and Hayden Brisson.
