She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Taylor and Ida Belle Roberts Taylor; her husband Ernest Hester; and her siblings, Malvern, Alward Larson, Van Douglas, Lewis, Sophia, Shepard, Donald and Lorena.
She is survived by: her sister Almeda Singletary of Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
