She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bruce Lewis and Annie Mae Gibson Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Benton of Bladenboro; her daughters, Sherry B. Goodwin of Pittsboro and LeAnn B. McCollum (Anthony) of Castle Hayne; her grandchildren, Bryan (Mandy), Jake, Jessica (Casey) and Connor; and her great grandchildren, Damien, Rhys, Jackson and Emma Grace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bladenboro, Gibson Cancer Center or a charity of your choice.
