He is survived by: his wife Sherry Pait Long; his daughter Tonya Denise Long of Bladenboro; his grandchildren, Peyton and Camryn Robinson; his daughter Kimberly Cheshire of Bladenboro; his brothers, Marshall Long (Sandra) of Bladenboro, Jimmy Long (Deloris) of Elizabethtown, Ralph Long (Martha) of Bladenboro and Stanley Long (Robin) of Tobermory; and his sister-in-law Anne Long.
