With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Benton Sapp of Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Benton and Mabel Davis Benton; and her sister Linda Sue Jordan Graham. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Sapp; her children, Jonathan Harold Sapp (Charlotte) and Audra Fortune (Richard); her siblings, Tim Benton (Pam), Craig Benton and Samantha Davis; her grandchildren, William Benton (Chelsea), Avery Lynn Sapp, Amber Lowder (Jacob) and Jessica Slayter (Spencer); and her great grandchildren, Myla Benton, Jacoby Lowder, Cameron Lowder and Allie Slayter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
