He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Evers and Alvanie Guyton Evers; his wife Dorothy Mae Evers; and his sister Maxine Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, David Evers (Debbie) of State Rd, NC and LaRena Powers (Kenneth) of Manning, SC; and his grandchildren, David James Evers (MaKayla), Kayla Evers and Sabrina Powers.
