She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lindsey and Sarah Hester Dent Merritt; her husband Curtis Russ; and her siblings, Marvin, Livingston, Ewen, Earl Dent, Melba Dent Packer and Barbara Dent Packer.
She is survived by: her niece Patricia Packer Guill (Glenda Baxley Smith); her nephew Billy Dent; her daughter Peggy Russ Kinlaw (Ben) of Barnwell, SC; her grandson Jonathan Kinlaw (Katie); her great grandchildren, Thatcher and Harrison Kinlaw of LaFayette, GA; and her brother Edward Dent (Marilyn) of Bladenboro.
