He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Elkins and Ruth Elkins; his siblings, Ronnie Elkins, Mary Rose Hughes and Hilda Anders; and his grandsons, Adam Elkins and Logan Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Elkins; his children, Brandon Webster Elkins, Byron Elkins, Rob Elkins (Eula), Kimberly West (Elwood), Robert Anderson (Suzanne) and Mark Anderson (Lena); his sisters, Millie Thompson and Betty Faye; and his friend Bobby Ward (Mary). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
