He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Richardson and Hattie McDowell Richardson; his daughter Belinda Hall; his siblings, Donald Richardson, Wendell Richardson and Barbara Lowe; and his great grandchild Devin Richardson.

He is survived by: his son Shane Richardson of Roseboro; his siblings, Elwood Richardson of Whiteville and Wanda Wright of Elizabethtown; and his grandchildren, Adam Hall, Anthony Hall, Aren Hall, Austin Landreth and Dylan Richardson.
