Betty Jo Vaught touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benjamin and Rose Lewis Vaught of Bladenboro, NC; and her brothers, Joe Vaught, Jr., Wilbur Vaught and Billy Ray Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Dewey Glenn Cain of Bladenboro; her great grandchild Dick Cain (Scottie) of Chattanooga, TN; her child Brooks Hester (Katie); her grandchildren, Allie and Emmy; her child Morgan Clark (Will); her granddaughter Eliza; her children, Jackson and Jordan; her siblings, Otis Fisher (Lavonne) of Greensboro, NC and Shirley Clark Bridger (Charles) of Bladenboro, NC.; and also, Elizabeth Johnson (Josh), Bridger, Sibbes, Holden, Kuyper, Katherine Sims (Taylor), Campbell, Kailyn, Rachel Cain and Austin Cain (Franni).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (500 S Main St, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery.
