She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thompson and Mildred Smith Thompson; her husband David Dove; and her brothers, James E. Thompson, Buddy Thompson, Michael Thompson and Jesse.
She is survived by: her children, David McCray Dove (Yvonne) of Greenville, NC, Eric Dean Dove of Bladenboro and Crystal Jean Dove (Tony Bright) of Bladenboro; her sisters, Betty Thompson of Iowa, Levona Thompson of Bladenboro and Vella Rose Babson of Elizabethtown; and her grandchildren, Devin Dove, Brandon Dove, JD Russ, Summer Russ, Kalea Dove, David Robert Dove, Andrew Dove and Matthew Dove.
