He is survived by: his children, Lee Hester (Janet) of Bladenboro, Jason Hester (Channon) of Leland and Kelly Durden (George) of Tar Heel; his sisters, Doretha Edwards (Curly) of Bladenboro and Joanne Johnson (Larry) of Burgaw; his grandchildren, Savannah, Logan, Lukus, Asa, Christopher and Trey; and his great grandchildren, Walker, Lilli Bess and Braxton.
