She was predeceased by: her parents, John Britt and Hessie Corner Britt; her husband Lawrence Patrick "Pat" Johnson; her son Johnny Johnson; her grandson Lawrence Johnson; and her siblings, JC Britt, Joe Britt Jr., Eunice Barr, Margie Edwards, Margaret Deaver, Eveline, Emma and Sue Neal Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Johnson (Penny) of Bladenboro, Mitchell Johnson (Teresa) of Fayetteville and Donald Johnson (Jeannie) of Beaufort, SC; her siblings, Lacey Downing of Winston Salem, Myrtle Parker and Linda Frances; and her grandchildren, Derrick Johnson (Kim) of Bladenboro, Maxanne J. Kriner of Fayetteville, Ferra J. Fulkerson (Fred) of Whiteville, Christopher Johnson (Natina) of Beaufort, SC, Candice J. Whitten (Christopher) of Dallas, NC, Jessica Hasty of Whiteville and Samantha Johnson of Beaufort, SC. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
