It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Carpenter (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on May 1, 2019, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Ann Stepp and James Carpenter; his brother Wayne Carpenter; his aunts, Catherine Burgin and Joanna Burris; and his grandmother Marjorie Stepp.
He is survived by: his daughter TaShayla Carpenter (Tracy); his siblings, Catherine Butler of Black Mountain, Martha Carpenter of Black Mountain, Patrick Carpenter of Greensboro and Jasmon Carpenter (Amber) of Morrisville; his brother-in-law Sidney Butler of Black Mountain; his aunts and uncles, Christine Stepp of Asheville, Mary Burris of Asheville, Addie Hall (Ron) of Asheville, Robert Stepp of Asheville and H. J.; and his cousin Beverly Hausley.
