He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Perkins and Mattie Causey Perkins; his wife Ann Miller Perkins; and his son Patrick Sheldon Perkins. He is survived by: his daughter Paula James (Larry) of Black Mountain, NC; his granddaughter Iris Jones (Wally); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hannah and Matthias (Matty) of Bermuda Run, NC.; and his siblings, David Perkins of Venice, FL, Alan Perkins of Tallahassee, FL, Irvin Perkins of Havana, FL and Dianne Perkins Maxwell of Havana, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
