He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franklin Cloud and Sibyl Cloud; and his siblings, Evelyn Bryant, Eileen Franklin, Vida Hartsock, Redella Galloway, Sophia Deaton and Vance Cloud.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Sturgill Cloud; his children, Sharon Kay Cloud, Rebecca Sue Cloud McGraw, Callie Ann Shook (James Shook) and Richard David Cloud (Jennifer Cloud); his granddaughters, Stephanie Trantham (David Trantham), Amanda Jarzyna (Nathan Jarzyna), Katie Saffer, Mina Cloud, Amy Cloud and Mckinley Shook; and his sister Olita Moore. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
