Myrtle Effler Turner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Effler Turner of Black Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester V. Effler and Bertie Chrisawn Effler; her husband Ben Franklin Turner; and her siblings, Dot Burnette, Pearl Anglin, Louise Slagle, Lois Crisp, Bud Effler, Frances Effler and Ed Effler.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Turner, Ben Turner Jr. and Eddie Turner (Debbie Harvey); and her granddaughter Courtney Turner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harwood Home For Funerals (208 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
