It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Garland (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on October 10, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Susan Patterson Garland; his children, Nathaniel Garland, Blk Mtn and David Trout (Laura); his grandchildren, William, Maddie Trout of Sevierville, TN, Jennifer Garland and North; his brother Lindsay Garland of Blk Mtn; and his niece Elizabeth Garland of Fletcher, NC..
Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. at Black Mountain United Methodist Church, 101 Church St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Western Carolina Rescue Ministries, 225 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.
