She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel James and Anne Shannon Cumming; and her sister Shannon McCormick. She is survived by: her husband James Linton; her children, Elizabeth Harris (Nathan), Anna Linton of Black Mountain, Hugh Linton of Black Mountain, Evan Linton (Deborah), Duncan Linton (Ariel) of Barnardsville, Daniel Linton and Peter Linton of Black Mountain; her siblings, Sarah Stokes Mitchell (Marion) of Wadmalaw Island, SC, William Cumming (Janice) of Nashville, TN, Fairman Cumming of Decatur, GA and Robert Cumming of Montreat, NC; and her grandchildren, Elaina Linton, Seth Linton and Elisha Linton.
