She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Gerringer and Althea Gerringer; and her siblings, Joseph Gerringer, Freddie Gerringer and Ruby Thievin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kaye Hanes of Winston Salem, NC and Kathy Burleson of Morganton, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
