With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Bartlett (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on January 3, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl E. Bartlett; her daughter Carolyn Bartlett; her grandson Steven Reed; and her brothers, Charles Kitchen, Ray Kitchen and Bobby Kitchen.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Bartlett (Beth) of Black Mountain, Lucy Reed of Black Mountain and Linda Richards (Jerry) of Hilton Head, SC; her siblings, Pearl Davis, Betty Richardson (Albert) of Black Mountain, Willie Jean Padgett (Earl) of Black Mountain and Johnny Kitchen of Georgia; her grandchildren, Angela Caughorn (Jason) of Georgia and David Blankenship (Wanda) of Black Mountain; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Caughorn of Georgia, Josh Reed and Cory Reed of Swannanoa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
