Julius Harris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Harris of Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on April 5, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lytle Gwyn and Bonnie Harmon Harris; his wife Garnett; his siblings, Ellsworth Harris, Warren Harris, Harmon Harris, Edwin Harris, Thelma Harris and Mildred Winters; and his brother-in-law David Arthur Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen Harris (Rebecca) of Old Fort and Cecil Harris (Gay) of Swannanoa; his sister Faye Mayberry of Elk Park, NC; his grandchildren, Derek Harris, Lyndsey Harris of Carolina Beach, NC, Anna Harris Vanhorn (Alex) of Denver, NC, Andrew Harris of Swannanoa, NC, Jessica Perry (Adam) of Old Fort, NC and Charise Beckham (Ryan) of Hiddenite, NC; his great grandchild Hattie Jo Vanhorn; and his siblings, Isaac, Palyn, Everleigh Beckham and Kinley Perry. He is also survived by his sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
