She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Burnette and Hattie York Burnette. She is survived by: her husband Pat Willet; her children, Sherrill Godfrey (George), Vicky Krieger (James), Cynthia Wilson (Jeff), Stanley Willet (Tammy) and Barrett Willet (Jaime); her grandchildren, Sarah Rodriguez, Christopher Godfrey, Crystal Gergye, Amanda Pharr, Matthew Willet, Erika Willet, Nickolas Wilson, Rachel Wilson, Sam Wilson, Jay Willet and Quinn Willet; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Weston, Malia, Jaxon, Jameson, Logan and Aria.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church (204 Blue Ridge Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
