He was predeceased by: his brother James Emmitt Wheeler. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Ann Silvers (Mark); his grandchildren, Karry-Ann and Hannah; his children, Jerry David Wheeler, Jr. and Brittany Wheeler; his granddaughters, Savannah and Cheyenne Wheeler; and his siblings, Lucy Tomlin, Linda Wilson (Truman), Ruth Brown (Ronnie), Dottie Newton (Steve), Pat Cassizzi (Carl) and Jessie "Don" Wheeler. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
