She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett Holcombe and Mamie Gaddy Holcombe; her children, Judith Church, Janet Ammons and Rev. David Brigmon; her grandson Jack Brigmon; and the father of her children William Ralph Brigmon.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Lea Webb of Asheville, Diane Brigmon of Black Mountain and Jeff Brigmon of Anchorage, AK; and her sister Joann Carroll of Morganton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
